Flørli in the Lysefjord is a deserted power plant from the beginning of the last century in Forsand municipality in the district of Rogaland in the south west of Norway. It is since 2000 the arena for art exhibitions in the summer and a popular stop for mountain hikers and for boat enthousiasts of any kind. The site is a historical site, a witness of a period when the electricity was developped from it's start, though a new power plant has been built hidden in the mountain.
People within the arts and culture who can see this historical treasure have worked until today on a volontary base to save the site from destruction. The project seems to have succeeded, and now time has come for professionals of the arts -meaning all kind of arts, visual, music, theater, food to discover this exquisite site's potential.
Flørli is partly deserted and without road connection but connected with the town of Stavanger and Sandnes on a dailly bases.
